California photography collection features landscape photography from the state I've lived in for almost two decades. Photos shown here have been captured at many iconic locations like Big Sur, California beaches, National parks(Death Valley, Joshua Tree, Yosemite), as well as Eastern Sierra mountain ranges and various dunes and valleys in our amazing state.
California photography is by far one the richest states when it comes to variety on landscapes and topography. Within just the few hours of driving distance, one can find themselves crossing the mountains into a desert to find dunes, lakes, or patches of giant boulders. Then pass back through the vast areas filled with Joshua trees, along palm tree populated city strees to end up back at the most iconic surf spots, to end the day and witness most epic sunsets at one of the Malibu's beaches.
I've been traveling the state for the past 4 years almost day in and day out covering in excess of 50 thousand miles a year to create fine art nature and landscape photography. And I still feel that I have only scratched the surface discovering the vast variety of natural wonders this state has to offer. And despite the fact that it is called Golden State, probably because of the gold rush that happened here in the 1800s, yet I'm pretty sure the real reason why it deserves this name is because of its richness and diversity when it comes to different types of natures spectacles you can find in different parts of the state.
