Believe it or not, the coolest thing about this place was not the lavender or the mountain in the background and a pleasant summer countryside feel. But it was or rather were the bees.
When in bloom, these lavender bunches attract endless amounts of bees that pollinate them all throughout the bloom period. As thousands of bees fly around the lavender field, the buzz coming from their wings joins together in unison and creates this low vibration hum that can be heard around the whole area... it's kind of like being next to a bee house, yet the hum is more spread out and a little more subtle.
That was the most mysterious part for me. As I walked around meditating on that heavenly hum, I couldn't help but feel as if I'm miles away - removed from common world of ordinary civilization!
