Orange Is New Pink
Photo Location: Paseo Nuevo, Santa Barbara, California
I remember watching a series about Santa Barbara when I was a teenager. It was very popular where I was from because the kind of lifestyle and luxury was only accessible to a few "chosen" ones. I now happen to live 50 miles away from this town and visit it quite often. Almost every time I am there, I remember people being glued to the TV every evening, chasing the life drama of people they will probably never meet or even get an opportunity to ever visit the magical town they knew the name of so well.
Although I have met some people and have seen those larger-than-life homes, from TV series. I can assure you, the rest of the city is much more mesmerizing to me. Starting with Spanish-style architecture, contemporary malls, the marina, the pier, mountains, and parks - make this cool coastal town super unique and worth visiting, over and over. Oh, and don't forget to take a peek at the mission of Santa Barbara- that's a real treat too!
"Orange is New Pink" was created during one of my lonely evening walk exploring the city. When the town was falling asleep with random laughs and sounds of people coming out of the bars only. I fell in love with this city photography art because of how vibrant it is and has a glimpse of Tuscany in it. I really enjoy its vibrant look and crispness. Hope you enjoy it too.
