Multnomah Falls - Most Photographed Waterfall In Oregon
To many landscape photographers, Multnomah falls is an overrated waterfall. Because it offers easy access, you can just drive up to it. Therefore, anyone with a phone and two legs can get to it after 2-minute walk, making this waterfall too popular to be even looking at. Personally, I never miss a chance to visit it if I'm in the area. These falls are surrounded with some much greenery, that every time it looks completely different and if you come to see it during winter, you can even see parts of it frozen and all the surroundings covered in snow. Creating all kinds of creative opportunities.
My favorite season to visit Multnomah falls is autumn. That is when you see the richest colors that transition from green to yellow to orange and some reds. Introducing a full palette of colors for real vibrant waterfall photography. The important thing I do when visiting the falls like these is to always take a moment and just stand there present, watching, listening and feeling the power of water coming down. Creating an invisible connection and becoming one with it. I do it for a minute after all the shots i take as my way of saying thank you. The even better thing, of course, would be to jump in and swim in it, but I wouldn't recommend doing that at the Multnomah falls. I'm pretty sure swimming is prohibited at this location!
I hope you enjoy this waterfall photography artwork as much as I do. It radiates the beauty of natures art and offers a great piece for a wall decor!
