Imperial Dunes happen to be an absolute-hidden gem when it comes to desert landscapes. Located east of city of San Diego, CA. It is a perfect place to getaway if you enjoy dune buggies or just feel like hiking some massive sand hills in the midst of the scorching summer heat! This place is always filled with daredevils creating exhaust noise coming from their trucks, dirt bikes and four wheelers. As they race up and down sandy hills, picking up dust and leaving long trails of tire marks behind them.

Also known as Algodones Dunes is one of my most favorite place to visit when I am exploring most southern part of state of California. These dunes stretch for miles and offer an amazing opportunity for painting or artistic photography!
